I have been experimenting with composition. I liked this format for this painting because it allowed me to really focus on the water hitting the rocks. I wanted to demonstrate the power that this beautiful water has to cut right through the rocks. When the sun hits the water in Carmel, it turns this gorgeous blue-green color.
